Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the NHIDCL Deputy Manager position, candidates must meet the following requirements by the closing date of the application (June 8, 2026):

1. Educational Qualification

A Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute (AICTE/UGC approved).

Must possess a valid GATE Score in Civil Engineering from the year 2024, 2025, or 2026. (Candidates without a valid GATE score are not eligible).

2. Age Limit

Maximum Age: 34 years (As of June 8, 2026).

Age Relaxations:

OBC (NCL): Up to 3 years

SC/ST: Up to 5 years

PwBD (UR/EWS): Up to 10 years

Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years

3. Nationality

Must be an Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.

 

Selection Process

The recruitment drive relies entirely on academic and competitive merit. There is no separate written examination.

GATE Score Basis: Selection is based on the highest valid GATE Score in Civil Engineering obtained in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of a tie, the older candidate (by Date of Birth) will be preferred. If the DOB also matches, alphabetical order of the first name (as per the 10th-grade certificate) will be considered.

State Allocation: Final placement will be determined through a Merit-cum-Choice counseling session categorizing candidates into specific State Groups (e.g., North East, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, etc.).
